More In-the-Wild Pictures of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi

Though Sony Ericsson has taken some grief over their handling of the Android operating system, these is little argument that the manufacturer does make some pretty stylish devices. Seen here for what seems like the millionth time is the handset codenamed Nozomi, the Sony Ericsson LT26i. Rumors put this one at 4.3-inches across its 720p HD display with a dual-core CPU running the show, the images reveal a non-removable battery, no discernible microSD card slot, a dedicated camera button, and HDMI output. Also present is a front-facing camera.

The design of the device is particularly appealing in a minimalist sort of way. The simple lines give the handset a refined look, and the Android buttons done up in chrome are a nice touch. We’re looking at Nozomi launching sometime in the first half of next year. We wouldn’t be too surprised to see it at CES in January, but if not February’s Mobile World Congress should most definitely host the phone’s public unveiling.
