I know a lot of you have been lusting after the 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note ever since it was released last month in Europe. We’ve known for quite sometime now that a North American release would follow but the rumor mill has been rather quite with nary a peep or leak — until now. The above image comes to us courtesy from inside some type of Samsung testing office and shows the Galaxy Note with a noticeable lack of the “homescreen button” (some call it the iHome button) from the international version of the phoneblet. If you haven’t noticed by now, whenever the US (or Canada) gets a Galaxy phone, they always seem to do away with that home button. This is most likely an attempt to avoid legal woes with a certain fruity company from Curpertino.
The Galaxy Note LTE has just been made official for South Korea and the SDK for the S-Pen has also been released earlier today. I think I speak for us all when I say that I’m hoping for a speedy Sprint release seeing how everyone else will have a compatible Galaxy Nexus by year’s end (yeah, I went there). Think I need my blanket and passie…
