Zagat Starts Month-Long Free Trials for Android Application

For one reason or another, Zagat – the premier restaurant ratings service – has dropped its wallet-hurting (in the world of mobile, anyway) $10 price tag for its Android application. Why? It appears Zagat will now give new users a full month of access to their service for free, after which users can pay $25 per year for everything the robust application and website has to offer. A subscription model makes sense in this day and age, though I don’t think I’m alone when I say an ad-driven model would be appreciated. Just a thought, Zagat. [Market, thanks John!]
