Now that the source code has allowed itself into the hands of developers everywhere, results of Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich AOSP drop are already starting to look good. Alpha builds of Android 4.0 ICS are in the works for many phones, with a good amount of phones already seeing early (yet still not stable) ROMs.
I can confirm that at least the original Epic 4G has gotten love alongside the Samsung Captivate and the original Galaxy S. One Reddit user says “many other phones” have gotten builds, too.
Since there are a lot of you with different phones, I won’t go sniffing out specific phones or links to any alpha builds of ICS they may have, but feel free to take a look at your respective phone’s forum at XDA to see if someone has something in the works.
