Retailer J&R has listed Samsung’s latest tablet – the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus – for presale. Two configurations will be available. For $400 you’ll be getting the 16GB version of this baby, while the 32GB version will cost you $500. Sort of steep for this size but those who prefer smaller slates over the popular 10 inch variants or even Samsung’s 8.9 inch variant will appreciate it.
If you don’t remember, this tablet is the Honeycomb-laden followup to the original. With its price point and the fact that it has a made-for-tablets operating system, it should be a lot more successful than its predecessor.
The 7 inch display gives you 1024×600 resolution and beneath all that is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 3 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera and a microSD card slot for expanded storage. We’re expecting these to be available later October/Early November. [Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]
