The HTC Flyer was just made available from US Cellular today. The 7-inch tablet features a 1024×600 resolution display, 1.5GHz single-core Snapdragon processor and 32GB of internal memory and optional HTC Scribe pen that can allows you to take notes, highlight text and annotate screenshots.

US Cellular is offering the Flyer $400 with a $55, 5GB plan or $600 with the lighter $15, 200MB plan. Both options require a 2-year agreement. Originally, US Cellular announced they would offer the device for $200 with a 2-year agreement but I couldn’t locate that offer anywhere on their site. You can pick up the HTC Flyer right now from US Cellular by visiting the source link below.

  1. how does contract free with a plan work? you could buy it for 400 then downgrade your plan after a month and itll be cheaper then paying 600 :/

Edit: i looked at their site. it does say with 2 year agreement

    1. You’re totally right. Fixed post.

  2. Uhmm, if that’s contract free pricing….why is it a different price depending on your data plan? Doesn’t that kindda constitute it being a contract plan?…. o_O?

If its a 1 time data charge why would you spend 615 over 455? Is it monthly recurring or once you hit your data limit? I don’t get it.. Sounds pretty contractish to me…….

    1. It’s very contractish. Lol I get confused with these smaller carriers. Was under the impression they were all month-to-month. =/

I knew it sounded too good to be true. Updated post.
