Dunder Mifflin Releases New Pyramid Tablet – Challenges Conventional Rectangle Tablets [Video]

If iOS isn’t really your thang and the upcoming Kindle Fire isn’t enough “tablet” for you — I may have some good news. Dunder Mifflin-Sabre is jumping head-first into the tablet scene with their very own tablet “The Pyramid.” Unlike your traditional rectangle tablet (read: snore-fest) which is sure to be the target of frivolous litigation, the Pyramid comes in an unconventional triangle shape. This allows for users to “unleash the power of the pyramid.”

So how much power are we talking about here? Well, without the optional battery pack and memory booster, the device only weighs in at around 3lbs. Not too shabby. Keep in mind if you’re thinking of picking up one of these bad boys sans the memory booster, the device will only be packing 50L of memory. 50L? Don’t ask.

Not sure exactly how well the Dunder Mifflin Pyramid will do on the market seeing how better funded tablets like the BlackBerry Playbook and HTC Flyer are already seeing significant price drops. I’ll definitely be rooting for the tablet’s design lead Dwight Schrute and the team over at Dunder Mifflin. Check out the video below to see the Pyramid in action.
