HTC looks to have officially announced the HTC Raider 4G, but this one isn’t headed outside of Asia just yet. In fact, it’s only slated for South Korea as of the time of this posting. The Raider was once known as the Holiday and is eventually expected to make its way to the European and North American countries before year’s end.
It’s a high-end dual-core device with a 4.5 inch qHD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 4G LTE radios, an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p HD video, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and way too much more good stuff to list.
HTC Sense will be installed on top of Android 2.3. It looks like a great device and one we’re certain you’ll probably want to check out once it makes it way here (AT&T is expected to launch the device). [via, HTC 1|2]
Seems like the front of every HTC phone these days looks the exact same. Guess they forgot/don’t care about originality.

I think they should use a different homescreen for the pictures in press releases, it seems anything with a Sense home screen makes the designs all look alike to others that have no eye for detail.
The back of the phones are the biggest place to put into thought for design. The Vigor’s leaked shots show this, why AT&T likes those completely rectangular designs that all nearly look alike is beyond me. it shares a resemblance to the Sammy Infuse 4G

Until I seen the side shot of this in press form, I thought this phone was going to be massively thick from all the leaks that were showing that hideous triangular back, the press shots make it look nicer than it actually is or the angles that were leaked are just very bad shots.
My question is how will it perform as compared to the galaxy s2?! either way, it looks like a decent phone but its going to be awhile before I replace my galaxy s2

No not all HTC phones look the same. They all have a unique look to them. All of the Samsung phones look alike! Black plastic and maybe some are a tiny rounder then others..
The galaxy S II is about 5 or 6 months old and HTC hasnt come up with a phone like it ( performance, camera, speaker, etc.)
I like HTC and i love my sensation but it’s painful to watch my friends with their galaxy.
I have a evo 3d and love it, the design and everything but i do agree that sgs2 does seem a little faster (because of sense over top of it), better battery and i havent seen the camera on them….but i hate samsung so ill never get a sgs. Planning on rooting it when htc stops the updates on it and then it will be really fast.
