I just read the Business Insider (BI) article and it was the most biased piece of horse shit I’ve read in a while
My thoughts exactly…and here I thought Engadget was pro-Apple anti-Google, but that article…..wth!!
Yeah, the Business Insider article is crap.. They know nothing about open source software, or what “proprietary” means.. The code that MS had obviously has nothing to do with released open source software.. because that is already freely out there.. Google has the right to object to 3rd parties examining unreleased property of theirs and MS violated a stipulation of the court by having someone do that.. Basicly I think MS screwed themselves now, over this code, by doing that.. Whatever this guy might have found is probably now useless… Too bad, so sad.
My room has a new hole in the wall from all the head bashing i made caused by that article’s stupidity.
Did anyone catch this from the BI article:
“As PaidContent reports, Google made the claim in an International Trade Court case between Microsoft and Motorola. Microsoft has repeatedly claimed that Android infringes upon some of its patents, and is suing Motorola in hopes of extracting licensing fees for every Android device that Motorola sells.”
Google actually stepping up on Motorola’s behalf…nice. Some folks asked when was Google gonna do this…
Whether Google is helping out (or not) aside, being subpoenaed by a judge to show source code does not constitute “Stepping Up”.
Today is Saturday, August 13 is Saturday lol
