If you thought the announcement of Facebook Messenger was a bit boring and were disappointed that SlideScreen has been retired, we’ve got a decent remedy for you. It’s apps of the day, of course. Take a look at these apps and see if you can’t fill that missing void that you jut can’t seem to fill otherwise. Kind of like my love life and trying to find the perfect one. Too much information? I though so.
Bord – Yes, the name looks funny, but it’s actually quite clever for the app it describes. Bord is one of those fun time wasters that can mindlessly be enjoyed without really having to do too much thing. Thinking sucks. This time waster lets you draw on a chalkboard with various colors of chalk and sponges. You can play back a recording of the drawing to see exactly how you did it. You can then share that stuff with your friends. Cool, no? (PS: the name is clever because it can’t decide whether or not it wants to be board or bored, hence the “o” being the only vowel here.) Free in the market. [Market]
iPan: Flip Master – I’ll be the first person to tell you that I absolutely suck at flipping anything in a pan, let alone eggs. There have been far too many incidents where the remains of a perfectly good jumbo egg ended up on the floor. And that poor, poor shell – an actual chick could have been inside that thing. iPan: Flip Master probably won’t prepare you for competition on Iron Chef, but damn it it’s as close as you’re going to get to practice without wasting expensive ingredients. Pretty decent game, for what it’s worth. Check the lite version out and buy it if you like it. You’ll need Adobe AIR to play.[Market]
I’m so sick of people naming their android apps starting with i. If it was a port from the iphone at least change the name. If only they officially called it pandroid like in the description. But looks fun nonetheless.
