For those of you who have been patiently waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 to launch, we are now a few steps closer to its release. Thanks to this listing on Amazon.com, the 3G version of the 8.9-inch Honeycomb tablet is now available for pre-order in the UK and will ship to lucky buyers starting August 12th. It’s puzzling as to why Samsung continues to torture would-be Galaxy Tab 8.9 buyers here in the states but hopefully this is an indication that we’ll see the tab soon enough.

First!!!!!
You mean, “ONLY” =p
Appealing, but price is too high, comparing to competition i guess
8.9 perfect size
Where is the 10.1 in 3g? Samsung is really getting on my nerves. I’ve waited several months for this, and now its 4th Aug and it’s still not released, only wifi. I have to wait several more weeks. You know what, to hell with your tablet. If you can’t release both wifi and 3g on same day,am done with it.
The 10.1 came out in 4g..last week.
not in the uk
$988?? Really?
$450 tops.
£605?! Seriously?!
This item is NOT being sold by Amazon or Samsung. It is a private company trying to get people to pay over the odds for a pre-order.
Wait for the official price to be announced before shouting’OMG WTF’
