XOOM Deals: $440 32GB WiFi from eBay, Free or $100 from Comcast (Contract)

Looking to pick up a tablet that, with all due respect, has been outclassed by several competitors since it’s launched? There are a couple of cheap ways to get the Motorola XOOM in the way you want. On eBay, you can find the XOOM as a featured deal for $440. This is the 32GB WiFi-only model, though, so keep that in mind if you’d rather spring for a 3G (soon to be 4G) version. [eBay, Thanks Diego!]

If you’re a Comcast customer, though, you can get it even cheaper if you don’t mind being tied to a contract, ideal for anyone who sees themselves with Comcast for the long run. You can grab a XOOM for signing up for a few different Comcast packages.

As with anything that’s dirt cheap or free, you’re tying yourself into a 24 month contract with a $300 ETF that is shaved by $30 every three months until it expires or until you void the contract yourself.

If you want to take advantage, you’ll have to mention the promotion to the Comcast rep you’re dealing with – they aren’t advertising this deal and won’t be proactive in offering it. It lasts from now until September 15th. Details about the different offers you can take advantage of can be had at the source link straight ahead. [via Android Central]

  1. On the ebay site, it says it’s wifi only, but under Key Features, it says Free Upgrade to 4G when it’s available. Is that a typo or will they actually put a 4G radio in it?

  2. Where do you get it’s out classed. Please show ,me a tab that does anything that the xoom can’t.idiot

    1. Well, I don’t think it’ll fit in a case designed for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. So there’s something.

  3. I agree with Quentyn. It has not lived up to it’s hype for sure. Neither in sales numbers or quality of the build. If it did, it would be flying of the shelves and Motorola wouldnt be able to keep up with demand.. Sales numbers should be your proof. Ipad a few million and Xoom not even a Million.

  4. Mine does so much more than the iPad, like read online text books since they are encoded in flash. I like my Xoom and think it rocks!

  5. Erm how has the Xoom been outclassed? It runs Honeycomb 3.2, is blazin fast, has a sturdy build, amazing battery life, and is an all around winner…

  6. Anyone know if its just only brand new customers or if customers with no contract can also take advantage of this?
