Motorola Droid X2 Gets its First Custom ROM

0

The first ever custom ROM for the Motorola Droid X2 has been made available in beta form today. The milestone should mark the opening of the homebrewed software floodgates for the dual-core handset from Verizon. The new ROM is coated in a slick, black gloss and features plenty of under-the-hood enhancements, though there is still room for improvement. As these things always go, only install if you are willing to accept the risks that go along with rooting and altering your handset’s stock hardware. If that’s all kosher to you, head over to the XDA link below for the details.
