LG Optimus Pro is Another Blackberry (Or Palm Pixi) Look-Alike
I’m really, really glad to see the LG Optimus Pro, LG’s latest Android device. More and more, OEMs are bringing this form factor to the table, trying to pull in that crowd of Blackberry users who have gotten so used to their keyboards that they wouldn’t dare switch from their berries, even if they don’t necessarily like it. Perhaps I should liken this more to a Palm Pixie than anything, though, as the keyboard style draws more of its traits from that.
The LG Optimus Pro runs Android 2.3 and has a 2.8 inch HVGA display, a 3 megapixel camera and that full exposed QWERTY keyboard. We wouldn’t expect anything more than 512 MB of RAM inside and the same 600MHz processor powering the LG Optimus One series of devices, but nothing has been confirmed on internals.
The Italians are the lucky ones seeing this device first as they can snap it up for a mere 180 euros. [AndroidWorld.It via EuroDroid]
