Huawei Ascend X 4G Ushers In HSPA+ for Cincinnati Bell

One of the nation’s smaller carriers just announced a bump up in data speeds as Cincinnati Bell has introduced their new HSPA+ network. To go along with their new network speeds the carrier is also introducing their first 4G phone, the Huawei Ascend X 4G. The Ascend X 4G rocks a 1GHz processor, 5MP camera, and 4.1-inch screen with downlink speeds topping out at 14.4Mbps. The handset runs on Android 2.2 and also features a front-facing camera.
Cincinnati Bell is claiming their HSPA+ is twice as fast as the competition, a bold statement for the small carrier. If you want to find out for yourself you can grab the Huawei Ascend X 4G for $99 on-contract or $350 without.
