Toshiba Thrive Already on Sale at Some Best Buy Locations
It looks like Toshiba has made good on plans to release their Thrive tablet in early to mid-July, as some Best Buy locations already have the Honeycomb slate out for sale. At least one store in Austin, TX had the 16GB Thrive on display along with its $479.99 price tag with sales representatives ready to sell. Other stores are reportedly selling the 32GB model for $579.99. Those who aren’t in need of mondo amounts of storage space and would prefer to pay only $430 on the 8GB version are out of luck. You will just have to wait for other retailers such as Amazon to start shipping the Thrive, which should be right around July 10th if all goes according to plan.
