It’s a far cry from the spring release first quoted when it was unveiled back at CES in January, but a new leak suggests that the redesigned Motorola Droid Bionic could launch August 4th. Though the handset will land later than initially anticipated, it should still manage to be the first dual-core, 4G LTE Android smartphone for Verizon. The Bionic hasn’t been officially unveiled in its new form, but leaked images show a handset with a 4.5-inch screen, updated user interface, and WebTop capabilities.
Note the leak also confirms the July 14th release of another dual-core Droid handset, the Motorola Droid 3.
