You didn’t think we forgot about the EVO 3D’s big brother, did you? The HTC EVO View 4G is also available today for $400 after a new two-year contract. It’s just like the HTC Flyer we’ve already reviewed, except it’s black and you’ll get a Scribe Pen and 4G functionality for $100 less (that’s if you sign the contract).
The HTC Flyer is a unique tablet. Although Honeycomb is not available, the tablet-optimized version of HTC Sense is quite nice. That Scribe Pen functionality is also priceless for anyone who’s trying to live an all-digital lifestyle. Internally, it has some decent specs with its 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM, but the internal just barely do the trick in delivering a good experience.
I won’t get into specifics here – that’s what our review is for. But if you want to try one out for yourself I’d take a chance and run down to the Sprint store to see if they’ll let you cuddle wi- I mean, play with one. If you do decide to grab one, be sure to tell us all about it at the HTC Tablets section at AndroidForum.com. Any of you checking for this instead of a current Honeycomb offering?
