For those of you looking to possibly upgrade a family member’s “dumbphone” to an Android device but don’t want to spend a lot of money, T-Mobile has 2 new options. The Samsung Gravity Smart and Exhibit 4G pricing were both leaked in this screen shot from a T-Mo store computer. According to the leak you can snag the qwerty sliding Gravity Smart for only $80 (after $50 mail in rebate and new 2 year agreement). The Exhibit 4G will take full advantage of T-Mobile’s 4G network and will set you back $80 (after $50 mail in rebate and 2 year agreement).
Both of these devices are great choices for teens or as introductory phones for new Android users. Both devices will be available this Wednesday, June 22nd in T-Mobile stores across the country.
Doesn’t POS stand for p i e c e o f s h i t? What does it stand for here?
Point of sale is the only thing i could think of for retail
What if anything makes the SMART better than the year-old MyTouch Slide 3G?
I was in a T-Mobile store on 6/20, and they actually had an Exhibit they let me play with (they also told me the price, which is the same as posted). It reminds me a lot of the Optimus. Very reactive screen and a camera on the front and back (back has a flash).
