Being the 2011 NBA Rookie of the Year has its benefits, among them the outfitting of your house with plenty of expensive swag from Vizio. Blake Griffin not only got the hook up on a new 65-inch 3D TV, but also had the honor of being among the first to check out the VTAB1008, Vizio’s upcoming Android tablet. The two gadgets aren’t completely unrelated, as the VTAB looks to interface quite nicely with the television setup. We first heard of the tablet back at CES in January, but this is our first look at the thing in action. If only we could all get the superstar treatment.

Oddly enough, my local walmart had a price tag set up for this and retail space allocated for it, which I fought was weird. Does this thing have a release date?
Not bad, although the screen accelerometer seemed a little glitchy. The idea is a good one though. I will reserve final judgement till after its released.
That is one laggy and glitchy piece of equipment. Seems not fully baked yet.
