Samsung Tries to Advertise Galaxy S II Desktop Dock, Accidentally Slips an AT&T Attain Inside

We sort-of kind-of know that three of America’s major carriers will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S II, but official details have been few and far between. We have names – The Function for Verizon, the Within for Sprint, and the Attain for AT&T – and we know they’ll all have nearly-identical looks, but that’s about it. We may have gotten a first glimpse at AT&T’s version, though, as Samsung, in an attempt to advertise a desktop dock, let loose a picture of AT&T’s version.

Yes, it looks somewhat like the Samsung Infuse 4G, but we can assue you it isn’t. (Look no further than the power button for that giveaway.) As we expected, the Galaxy S phones in the states will all have a set of four capacitive buttons instead of the hardware home button and two capacitive buttons on the original. Oh, and with this outing we can at least confirm that AT&T’s version will have an HDMI port, a front-facing camera and, you guessed it, a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

A quick refresher on the original specs: it has a 1.2GHz Exynos dual-core chipset, a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera, and more. Things may change as it makes its way across the pond, of course, so don’t take these specs as law. [Samsung via Engadget]
