Google I/O Kicks Off Today: Enter Our Giveaway then Stream the Keynote Live
Kevin Krause
At 9:00AM PDT Google I/O 2011 will be officially underway with a keynote presentation that — if anything like years past — is sure to knock our socks right off. As is typical of Google events, you can stream the whole thing live from the comfort of your computer. Sure beats a $550 ticket to get into the Moscone center to see it for yourself, right? Considering that entry fee has been known to come along with a highly prized Android toy, you might still be feeling left out.
That’s exactly why we are bringing the full Google I/O experience to you, with one lucky winner taking home whatever Google decides to give away this year. A tablet? An unreleased handset? Take a guess and then follow the directions below to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
Sign up to the Phandroid Newsletter (look to the top right of this page)
Pray that we randomly select you out of all our newsletter subscribers (only 1 winner)
We’ll E-Mail the winner sometime on Tuesday, May 10th (so you must stay subscribed until at least then to benefit)
Please note: if the giveaway is of an unreleased device, we’ll be using it to conduct a review before sending to the winner
You can catch the full keynote over at the Google I/O site, then stick around to see live streaming video of technical sessions and other goodies. We’ll be there covering it live, so you’ll want to check back here as well for all the latest news as it develops.
