Barnes & Noble has just issued a major upgrade to the NOOKcolor with version 1.2. It brings a lot of good stuff – such as the NOOK Apps store, NOOK Books and enhanced social networking features – but the highlight of the upgrade is the new version of Android – 2.2. It’s no Gingerbread, but it brings one major feature that many have been hoping for on the eBook reader turned tablet – Flash.
You can find more details about what the update brings below. You can either wait for this to be pushed to you over WiFi or manually download and apply the upgrade yourself. Head on over to Barnes & Noble’s site for more details. [Thanks Dane!]
