If you didn’t fancy paying $530 on a two-year contract for T-Mobile’s brand new G-Slate, how about $430? They’re offering the device for $100 less for customers who order over the phone before April 27th – I hope you aren’t waiting to be paid to grab this one. Instructions to do so are below. (And don’t be surprised if this one gets taken down as it isn’t really an advertised deal.) [Thanks Jody!]
- Call T-Mobile at 1-866-464-8662
- Select option 3
- Reference the following promo code: GSLATE100
Let me see…. $430 plus a two year contract which might end me up on AT&T who I really don’t like or $400 for a wifi Asus and no contract. Gee, wonder which one will win out.

Sorry. Had to repeat the blatantly obvious for the blatantly stupid. Thanks Chimphappyhour
Is this some kind of scam !! I dialed the number and its NOT t-mobile !! WTF?!
I preregistered with T-Mobile when these were listed on their website. They (T-Mobile) sent me an email with all the details. Not sure who is handling it since I am not buying it and waiting for Samsung. If you would like the original email I can send it to you. Not a scam .
Okay Jon, Sorry I just checked the email I sent to Phandroid and its got the correct phone number, not sure where the transcribe came in.
Here is the correct number: Call T-Mobile at 1-866-464-8662.
FYI – The phone number listed here is wrong.
The actual number is Call T-Mobile at 1-866-464-8662.
2 words: Asus Transformer.
Move along!
2-year contracts on tablets is the dumbest thing ever!!!
This is like buying a laptop from BestBuy and making all the laptops sold requires a 2-year contract with Clear Wireless…how freakin stupid!!!!! Anyone who falls vistom to this is a sucker and deserves it!
Preaching to the choir but not only is the 2 year contract unappealing, but the price is too high for that. Phones are $500+ without 2 year contracts but sold for $200, why can’t they do this with tablets if the transformer is $400 and $500?
Not to mention it’s from LG…
Sweet cream gravy thats what it costs on contract!?!?!? I heard something about an apple version of this, the itab or something. It’s a lot cheaper even without a contract, I wonder if it’s really that much worse than this super expensive one…it must be or else surely this one would be a more reasonable price.
