Our attention has just been diverted to a new game in the Android market called Hungry MonstR. It’s a new title from Blowfish Studios and its premise makes it sound like a unique “defense” game: there’s an ice cream cone that some weird looking monsters want, and your job is to keep them away from it.
You play by using your finger to flick a monster into one of four tubes – the monster’s color will determine which tube it needs to be in. Flicking a monster into the wrong tube will briefly clog it up. You can get power-ups such as a rainbow that’ll allow you to throw any monster into any tube, which is effective if it’s becoming increasingly difficult to defend that precious ice cream.
Nicole Graves from Blowfish gives us a pretty quick, but still thorough look at the game in the video above. It’s running on an iPad, obviously, but it’s identical on Android. It’s only $.99 in the Android market so make no delay in checking this out if it interests you.
