Bell’s looking to become the premier carrier of Android devices in Canada, it seems. They’ve already gotten the Desire Z, the Motorola ATRIX and Nexus S are coming soon, and now they’re looking to bring the newly-announced HTC Incredible S to Canadians, according to the latest round of rumors.
Subscribers will have to buy this thing for $499.99 if they want it outright, but there’s no word on whether or not they’ll offer it cheaper on contract. Expect to see it land April 4th if the rumors are to be believed. [via MobileSyrup]
They always offer it cheaper on contract, not realy a question a whether or not. Up here they lock you in to three year contracts not two, they own your soul that much longer
I know this phone works on T Mobile 3G/4G. Does it work on AT&T 3G/4G also? I know most phones that go to Canada work on AT&T 3G/4G.
This version would work on AT&T but NOT on T-mobile 3G.
Thanks @ nomnompie. Makes sense. International version works on T Mobile 3G. Canada Version works on AT&T 3G.
You got it! :)
Did this phone already get released in Europe or no
had my desire z from bell working just fine on t-mobile.
@jonfry
Yes a Bell Desire Z will work with a T-Mobile SIM but only on 2G (EDGE) Network due to it’s band’s frequencies. It won’t, however, get a 3G connection unless it’s used on AT@T.
