Atrix 4G Software Update Will Add 1080p Video Recording [PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE]

It’s pretty hard to deny that the Motorola Atrix 4G is a powerful piece of hardware. When it launches, it should immediately become one of the top Android Phones available, especially surprising considering its resting place on AT&T’s lineup. Unfortunately, not ALL of the Atrix 4G’s power will be realized when it first launches.
Most notably, the Tegra-2 processor won’t be encoding any 1080p content when recording a video. That’s a bummer considering the LG Optimus 2X can do just that. Thankfully MOTO’s own spec sheet is saying the Atrix 4G will get these capabilities in a software update after launch.
It seems all the hard knocks on the Motorola Atrix 4G are quickly getting their load lightened… first the overheating bug and delay are debunked, now this. No word on whether green smiley will come prepackaged in the 1080p software update.
