NOOKcolor Overclocked to 1.1GHz
The NOOKcolor has quickly gotten a reputation for being an easily hackable and modifiable eReader-turned-tablet. After custom ROMs, kernels, bluetooth hacks, and more, XDA has done it again – this time, overclocking the thing to 1.1GHz. (It had previously seen a 950MHz overclock.) Go ahead and try it for yourself and let us know how much of an impact it has on the NOOKcolor’s performance. I may even reconsider purchasing one if the performance gains are attractive enough.
