Lenovo Will Focus On Tablets, Smartphones, TVs With New Mobile Division
It’s not that Lenovo hasn’t worked on Tablets, Smartphones, or TVs in the past, but they’re finally realizing that these areas of focus need their complete attention as their arguably the biggest areas of growth. Likewise, failure to compete at the current pivotal point in the tech world could mean giving up a lead that’s too difficult a deficit to overcome. Thankfully, Lenovo is ready to fully invest themselves in the mobile game and have officially announced the formation of a new business group called the Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business Group.
I’ve personally purchased a Lenovo Ideapad laptop and loved it so I was incredibly eager to check out the Lenovo Lephone they announced last year. Unfortunately that never made it into the United States and their Android offerings seemed limited at best. Fast forward to CES 2011 and they made a splash with Lenovo Android products like the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid running both Android and Windows.

At the same time, we’ll use our creativity, innovation and technical prowess to help our customers navigate the future of personal technology worldwide.”
