“My Phone” Rap Created By Class Action Lawsuit Filer [Samsung, T-Mobile, Dramaz]

This is the last thing I thought I’d see in the sudden uproar against Samsung and T-Mobile over the Vibrant debacle. (Rumors alleged that Samsung and T-Mobile were holding back the Android 2.2 update for the original Vibrant until after the as-yet unannounced Samsung Vibrant 4G has been launched.)

The class action lawsuit was expected and was a decent touch, but the same guy who filed the lawsuit also happens to be a “musician” and created a song about the issue. I put my Beats by Dre on and hit the play button, and I was nothing short of amazed. No, not because someone was willing to rap about a phone. We’ve seen that time and time again. But because this was a member of XDA.

Kudos, MicBeast. Not only have you approached this situation with the seriousness of a lawsuit, but you’ve brought music into the mix that brings healthy comedic relief, whether you intended for that to happen or not. I’m sure you’ll win a lot more folks over for your cause with this song, and consider yours truly a personal fan. (But for all the wrong reasons.) [Listen (ReverbNation) via Android Forums]
