Leaked pictures from earlier in the week showed it, and now Steven Walker, head of global marketing at Sony Ericsson, is confirming it. There indeed will be a new lineup of Xperia phones in the spirit of the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro. In fact, Walker goes so far as to say that all Xperia items from 2010 should be getting their rightful continuations in 2011.
SE is willing to admit that the Mini profile doesn’t exactly entice every single user, but that a certain sect of consumers will be won over by the small size of the line. We guess having a big boy like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc should easily make up for any missed sales. We’re sure we will be seeing quite a few new members to the Xperia family come MWC 2011.
