If I could travel back in time, I would travel to early December 2010 and order a bunch of Drycase pouches for my family. If you’re someone who likes to hit the beach, go to the pool, sail or motor a boat, go WaveRunning, or enjoy any activity that could cause water Damage to you Android (or any device for that matter) you’ll want to watch this:
Pretty awesome, innovative and effective if you ask me. I’m ALWAYS nervous to pull my phone out anywhere where there’s a remote chance it might get messed up. With DryCase not only can you bring it on the boat or to the beach or pool, but you can USE the device while it’s securely vacuum sealed. One step further: maybe find an exercise monitoring app, strap the Drycase Armband on, and record your swimming laps/workout?
Now that I’m thinking about it, this could work for skiing and snowboarding too. Oh yeah, and they make various sizes so you could use it for your Galaxy Tab, XOOM or iPad. There really are a whole lot of options. The only downfall I can safely see is bringing this to a pool party severely increases your chances of getting thrown in the pool. But maybe you want to take it for a swim anyways.
If you’re the type that likes to splash in the water, they’ve got pretty good deals on the phone drycase and the tablet drycase over at Amazon. Both are under $50 and they’ll save you from breaking your device and having to buy a new one- worth it in my book.
