We get so caught up into the thunder of the nation’s four biggest carriers that we forget the little guys are still out there. MetroPCS – who has an LTE network, if you didn’t know – could be getting their first Android-powered 4G phone. For now, there’s nothing to be had on a marketing name, but the SCH-R910 by its proposed specs alone makes a strong case to consider itself a Galaxy S phone: it has a 5 megapixel camera, a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, Android 2.2, and TouchWiz, it looks like. We’re still not sure on the screen size or type, but I’m sure we’ll have all the details we need once Metro decides to out this thing, which should be sometime this quarter for anywhere between $300 and $400. For now, here is a shot of the thing taken from a source of BGR’s.
