Smile: Spriiing Brings Pretty Portrait Android Phone To Thailand, Australia

3

Don’t you just love how any little manufacturer can make their own Android device? We’ve never heard of Spriiing, but apparently they’ve got a great looking Android Phone called the Spriiing Smile launching in Thailand and Australia:

But perhaps the Smile isn’t made by just “any little manufacturer”: the back side states “in connection with Ideos” which is a Huawei brand, so it looks like this bad boy got partially white labeled. Some of the specs include:

  • 3 megapixel camera
  • 512MB of ROM
  • 256MB of RAM
  • microSD expansion to 16GB
  • 2.6-inch QVGA display
  • 3G support 900/2100MHz bands
  • 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 core atop Android 2.1

Not THAT bad of a boy, but nice to see the Motorola Droid Pro getting some relatives in the Portrait QWERTYAndroid Family.
