Sony Lines Up LG, Sues

What kind of week would it be without someone suing someone else for anything? A slow one, that’s what kind.

Sony decided it was offended by LG and launched a lawsuit yesterday against Lucky Goldstar in the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California. The suit targets two U.S. based subsidiaries of LG: LG Electronics Mobilecomm U.S.A. Inc. and LG Electronics U.S.A. Inc.

The specifics of the case haven’t been made public; however chances are Android or LG devices running Android aren’t targeted directly. But with the way technology lawsuits are going these days, one can safely bet it will be dragged into the ring in one way or the other.
