DLNA has certified an Android device from Samsung named the Stealth V. (Stealth V is likely just a codename.) According to them, it houses a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen and an 8 megapixel camera, and will run Android 2.2. This sounds an awful lot like the 4.3-4.5 inch “Galaxy S2” device we heard of from Samsung before. We can’t say for sure these are the same devices, though, as it would come down to resolution: we’re expecting that device to sport an HD resolution of 1280×720 opposed to the WVGA 800×480 found in most phones of this size. The model numbers also don’t match up.
The Stealth V’s model number is SCH-i510, which is very similar to the Samsung Fascinate’s model number, leading us to believe that this will head for Verizon and be a continuation of the Galaxy S Fascinate line over there (and maybe even adopt the DROID name.) That’s all we know for now, but as always, we’re on the lookout for more. [via GSM Arena]
