[Update] New LG Vortex Details, Release Date for Continuum
A new comparison chart from Verizon has leaked out (who’s surprised anymore?) showing one LG Vortex alongside a collection of Android-based phones from other carriers. We don’t care about those because we already know what their deals are. We do care about the details that the Vortex’s column barfs up, though, because information on this device has been alarmingly scarce.
For starters, it will come shipped with Android 2.2 and is being listed as an “affordable” option. With a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera, I’d figure as much. We can also see that it’ll come preloaded with that V Cast app store that’s become official as of yesterday. Yes, it will be Bing’d. Finally, it comes with a 2GB microSD card, expandable to 32GB.
So it doesn’t sound like it’ll be anything much to feast on, but you can only be happy with more Froyo-based Androids. [via AC]
[Update]: Looks like the Vortex and Continuum will be joining the Droid Pro on November 18th as this Best Buy memo pegs both of these phones with that release date. Let’s hope these phones are finally just about ready to come out so these leaks can slow down! [via Droid-Life]
