Remember the Android theme for Google Chrome that got everyone swooning? A similar theme has been made for Gmail’s desktop interface, as well. As simple as day, it has the Android mascot peeking over Gmail’s envelope logo with green accents everywhere and a background which resembles a circuity board. What are you waiting for? Head into your Gmail settings, click the Themes tab, and apply this new theme today.
[Thanks, Jr!]
love it! :D
This is awesome together with the Android theme for Chrome!
I hope they do a dark/black Android theme… I much prefer a black theme, but would love to use an Android theme…
Your welcome Quentyn. I have been using the Android theme for Google Chrome since you guys did the story on it.
very nice. thx for the heads up
Its great!
Unfortunately here in Germany as we don’t have GMail here but instead Google Mail the google logo is just plain instead of the nice android one as in screenshot.
Damn.
I just switched to this theme. It’s awesome. Thanks Quentyn.
I literally found this theme 5 minutes before i read the story here! lol
funny
Sweetness!
Woot updated… Android rocks.
Love it already!
Great but it won’t be complete until we get the android emoticons in the chat portion of gmail.
@chimphappyhour That would be awesome.
Fantastic! I use Google Mail and after applying the Andy theme, Andy is on the right hand side peering over the top green bar, plus at the bottom of the screen, there are lots of Androids all over the place! I love the circuit boards in the background too!! :o)))
I’m such an android addict.
I “assume” that this theme is for Gmail on my Droid X not on my PC. When I get in Gmail and look at settings I do not see themes, only General Settings and Notification Settings. Neither has themes. Where am I going wrong?
@chimphappyhour (and @jdog) try [:|] in gmail! (In chat(name))
How do you remove the Androcity Wallpaper after it has been accidentally installed on you Motorola ZOOM?
