Orange to Launch “Project Jal” as the San Francisco, Delayed Until End of Quarter
A small bit of news for those of you with the carrier Orange: “Project JAL” – a phone identified to be a carrier-branded ZTE Blade – is now getting a name change. It’ll be known as the Orange San Francisco, for whatever reason. It’s a weird name, but there’s nothing else significant to note. It’s the same phone – Android 2.1, a 3-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, and an OLED display – but nothing else can be confirmed at this time. The device was supposed to be launched this month, but was delayed for an unspecified reason, according to Store-Orange. They state it’ll be headed our way near the end of the 3rd quarter, now.
