Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Gets a Proper Video Unboxing

Sony Ericsson enthusiasts SE-First are apparently the “first” to get their hands on the final retail packaging of the Xperia X8 and they treat us to a nice unboxing showing everything that comes with the phone. Everything here is no surprise as the phone itself can be described as an X10 Mini with a slightly bigger (by .2-inches) HVGA screen, a 600MHz processor, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

What do you get inside? The phone, of course, alongside its battery, a charger to juice it up, a USB cable for data sync, a stereo headset, a 2GB MicroSD card, the usual pieces of paper that show you how to use the thing, and 4 covers to swap in and out in case the phone just isn’t syncing with your wardrope on a particular day.

The affordable package isn’t meant to wow and impress anyone, but the pricetag will at around $250 without a contract. Unfortunately, those looking to pick this up will still have to deal with Android 1.6 (though the upgrade to Android 2.1 will come along with other Xperia phones whenever Sony’s ready to release the goods before October hits.)
