Dell Quietly Launches the Aero for AT&T

We’ve been waiting for this device to launch for a long while and AT&T’s been extremely quiet regarding its availability. It also hasn’t gotten the leak love we come to expect, but the Dell Aero’s finally available starting today for $99.99 on a two-year contract ($299.99 without). The device has a 3.5-inch capacitive display with the odd resolution of 640×360. It also features 2GB of onboard storage (with a microSD card slot to increase that), triband HSDPA and quadband EDGE, and a 5-megapixel camera.

One thing they conveniently left out of the presser is that the phone is running Android 1.5. The lack of mention leads us to believe that it’ll never see 2.x (at least not in this lifetime). Dell’s offering the phone on their site while AT&T is still listing it as “coming soon”.
