Allgo Stamp is a $50 Android Tablet

Indian manufacturer Allgo is set to tempt all Android lovers with their latest offering, not so much for its specs or features but rather for the price that will make it a hard deal to turn down regardless of what you get in return. For just $50, Allgo is offering the Stamp featuring Android packed behind a 7-inch resistive touch screen with a 480×800 resolution.

It doesn’t get much better from there. Aside from an antiquated resistive screen in a world chock full of capacitive displays, the Android version sits at 1.6, and any sort of update we would file as unlikely given the pricing and a trend for most low-end tablets to remain stuck with the OS they shipped with. The tablet will be showed off at IFA in Berlin this September.
