Motorola Droid 2 Now Available, R2-D2 Edition Shows Up in the Wild
Is this the Droid you were looking for? We know Verizon’s bringing out an R2-D2 special edition of the Droid 2 in September they announced a couple of days ago (or, as I call it, the R2-Droid2) but we’ve already seemingly got our first shot of the device in the wild. Its appearance resembles the outer shell of that of the actual R2-D2 robot from the Star Wars films, which is cool if you’re a fan, but would you carry one of these around for the sake of it?
Oh, and guess what? The regular Droid 2 is officially out today! The presale started yesterday – your device is probably already shipping if you ordered online – but you can walk into any Big Red corporate location and snag one up for yourself today.
