Telus has announced that the HTC Desire will be available on their network soon. We first suspected the device would be going to the carrier when we learned they’d started training sessions for the device for employees. The Sense-enabled Nexus One (that’s probably the best way to describe it, really) is a big hit over in Europe, so it only makes sense that it would eventually make its way to North America. Canadians can enjoy a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800×480, Android 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and more.
It’s said that the device will be offered for Telus’s back to school special, so expect to be able to pick one of these up before the summer months wind down.
