It’s almost mandatory to see a phone get a software update shortly after it’s been released to the public (albeit the very small public, at this time). After Verizon and Motorola gathered the media into a pair of meeting places in New York and San Francisco yesterday, outlets who received review units were prompted to install software version 1.13.516.en.US.
Previously, the phone was sitting at 1.113.514. There’s no indication about what this update does, but I’m guessing a few final touches and security patches have been pushed to ensure reviewers walked out of the event with the latest version available.
