A big deal is being made over high definition video quality on cell phones nowadays and video recording just so happens to be as important now as it was when we were first introduced. For those that are on the fence about the Samsung Galaxy S’s performance in this area, someone’s taken the phone to a tennis match and gave us a little preview of the quality of some of the footage you’ll be shooting (in natural light, anyway).
In its environment, it looks like the camera held up pretty decently. The framerate wasn’t the best, but it was very tolerable: performance will vary based on the situation and configuration, though, as with anything. Alongside that, we’ve gotten a peak at how this thing looks beneath its 4.1-inch shell. It’s pretty standard stuff, but I always get a little happy when I can get a closer look at what’s powering our mobile companions.
