After officially unveiling the Microsoft Kin-like phone to the world the other day, Motorola’s set to enable developers with the tools and information they need to developer for this device’s unique features. The Motorola FLIPOUT has a 2.8-inch screen with a QVGA resolution and an aspect ratio of 1.33 (not exactly square, but not exactly wide).
It also has its own unique market called SHOP4APPS which will sit alongside the Android Market and house apps that are tailored specifically to the device. Click over to Motorola’s developer site now for links to articles regarding the phone’s screen orientation, density, size, MOTOBLUR, and more. There, you’ll also be able to download the SDK and get started with your apps. When you’re finished, Motorola’s enabling you to submit both free and paid apps to SHOP4APPS.
