Remember the Inkia inPad from not too long ago? Turns out its copying the iPad in more areas than just the name (and we aren’t talking about the specs just yet). The final product is looking to be a full on iPad clone if we ever saw one. Yes, you’ll get Android on this one but the internals just don’t do it all that much justice considering what it is up against in terms of upcoming tablets and smartphones.
Both the inPad 701 and 702 (the latter coming with 3G capabilities) will use the clone-ready 600MHz Rockchip RK2808, either 128MB or 256MB RAM, and 4GB or 16GB of on-board storage. No pricing or release information is available just yet. Looks like another Android tablet took the easy way out and will fail to deliver a truly great experience. Of course, I never really expected much out of this one anyway.
