Mobile Burn Goes Deep With The LG Ally [Video]

While the LG Ally’s arrival wasn’t met with the loudest of fanfare, Verizon and LG are both pretty excited about the launch of LG’s first Android phone in the United States. MobileBurn got a review unit of the phone and they went in-depth with the phone’s unique features to give us an idea of what you can expect out of the box.

On the widgets side, LG has done a lot of interesting things here. Much like HTC has already done with Sense, you get a nice collection of items alongside Android’s standard widget set such as a nice looking calendar, an alarm toggler, and an application called “Socialite” that allows you to view and update your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

What’s interesting here is how easy LG’s made it to turn their layer of customization off and view everything in stock Android fashion. Does this mid-range device appeal to some of you guys?
