Erick Tseng just announced via Twitter that he will be stepping down as Senior Product Manager on Google’s Android team, and will be finding a new home working with Facebook innovating “at the intersect of mobile and social.” Who knows exactly what that means, but it is a definite loss for the Android folks at Google. No word on who is taking over his old position, but we are sure Google will find a more than suitable replacement. Is it too much to hope that one of Erick’s first moves at Facebook will be to deliver a quality Android app?
